Nick and Leslie Piantedosi, are the founders of the HOPE Response ministry, a charitable (501c3) and faith-based organization, dedicated to the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and teachings of hope in the tragedies of life.  They are known as "Hope Responders" in that they follow after the first aid and disaster relief responses to bring spiritual and emotional support to the community.  They provide Biblical seminars and relief support to local pastors and leaders with intensive trauma sensitivity training from a Biblical viewpoint for those facing loss, pain and grief.  Their response has strengthened and comforted those with personal struggles, war and conflict losses as well as natural disasters.  Their ministry has extended to youth in crisis that have turned to coping with drugs, self-harm, and acting out.

Both are Biblically-trained, with Nick as a Masters level graduate of Phoenix Seminary, ordained by Scottsdale Bible Church and commissioned to the work of cross-cultural outreach.  Leslie a graduate of Malone University, Biola University and graduate coursework in Westminster Theological Seminary.  Their experience by the power of the Holy Spirit has enabled them to plant an Hispanic church and to develop leaders among the indigenous people of various tribes of Native Americans.  They have been involved in cross-cultural work among international exchange students and refugees resettled in Phoenix.  Refugees from Congo, Venezuela, Guatemala, Burma, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan have been ministered through all their stages of migration with their different issues along that path.  Some of the disasters responded to has been the earthquake in Ecuador, hurricane in Puerto Rico, drought, poverty and HIV in Tanzania, hurricane in Abaco Island and others nationally such as fires, flooding, and tornadoes.

Nick has experience with expository preaching, leadership development, conferences and bible studies.  He served in the capacity of President of Missions, a member of Promise Keepers, and the humanitarian help of Stretcher-Bearers.  He is an ordained and commissioned pastor and evangelist along with his wife with whom they co-teach their seminars or teach for dedicated women's or men's conferences.

Leslie has two decades of experience in mental and emotional health and worked for Desert Hills Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital, the Mark Addictions Recovery Program, the RAPHA Group Facilitator's training, New Life Treatment Centers, Women of Faith, founding member of LifeGate Adolescent Treatment Center, New Wine Recovery, Remuda Ranch Women's Treatment Centers, Samaritan Counseling, Banner Behavioral Health Crisis Acute Care and is certified in Crisis Intervention.
